Terms of Service

Please read these Terms carefully before using bit2fiat. They explain how the marketplace works, what is expected from users, and the limits of our responsibilities.

Effective date: June 29, 2026

1. Welcome

These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of bit2fiat, including our website, mobile experience, marketplace, escrow workflow, wallet features, and related support tools. By using the platform, you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy.

2. Acceptance

You may use bit2fiat only if you have the legal capacity to form a binding contract and are allowed to use our services under the laws that apply to you. If you do not agree with these Terms, do not use the platform.

3. Accounts and security

You must provide accurate and complete information when registering. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials, authentication codes, and devices secure. You may not create multiple accounts, impersonate others, or provide false verification details.

4. Verification and compliance

We may request email verification, phone verification, identity checks, source-of-funds information, or other due diligence at any time to protect users and satisfy legal or compliance requirements. We may restrict, suspend, or close accounts when verification cannot be completed or when activity appears risky or unlawful.

5. Trading and escrow

Trades on bit2fiat are peer-to-peer. Offer terms, payment windows, payment methods, and trade chat instructions must be followed exactly. Once a trade is opened, users should communicate and complete payment only through the platform. Escrowed crypto is released when the agreed conditions are met.

6. Listings and offers

Any listing you post must be accurate, current, and lawful. You are responsible for the pricing, limits, payment method details, and any trade conditions you publish. We may remove or limit listings that are misleading, abusive, or inconsistent with these Terms.

7. Fees and pricing

Applicable fees are disclosed in the platform and may be deducted automatically where relevant. We may update our fee structure from time to time. Users are responsible for taxes, duties, and obligations that arise from their own activity on the platform.

8. Wallet and transfers

If you use our wallet or deposit and withdrawal features, you are responsible for using the correct asset, network, and address. Blockchain transfers can be irreversible, and we are not responsible for user errors such as sending funds to the wrong address or network.

9. Prohibited conduct

You may not use bit2fiat for fraud, money laundering, sanctioned activity, harassment, abusive conduct, unauthorized access, phishing, or any other unlawful purpose. You may not use the platform to evade compliance checks or to trade on behalf of undisclosed third parties.

10. Disputes and support

If a trade becomes disputed, we may ask for evidence such as payment proof, screenshots, messages, or identity documents. Our support team may resolve disputes based on the available evidence and the relevant trade terms.

11. Intellectual property

The bit2fiat name, branding, design, content, software, and related intellectual property belong to us or our licensors. You may not copy, reverse engineer, sell, or exploit our content except as allowed by law or by these Terms.

12. Warranty disclaimer and liability

The platform is provided on an as-is and as-available basis. We do not guarantee uninterrupted service, error-free operation, market outcomes, or that any trade will succeed. To the extent permitted by law, our liability is limited and we are not responsible for indirect or consequential losses.

13. Changes and termination

We may update these Terms from time to time. If material changes are made, we may notify users through the platform or by email. You may stop using the service at any time, and we may restrict or terminate access if required by law, compliance, security, or misuse concerns.

14. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws applicable to the Company and, unless mandatory consumer or local laws require otherwise, disputes will be handled by the competent courts in the Company’s principal place of business.
